MORE ALPHABET STUFF!

So...we threw in diphthongs today. Diphthongs are two vowels that are put together to produce a new vowel sound. The ones we went over were:

ei - "eye" like in Heidi Einstein, mein, dein, nein

ie - like in Justin Bieber or Wien, the capital of Austria (pronounced 'veen')

au - pronounced 'ow' as in autsch!!! (ouch)

eu - pronounced "oy" like in oy vey... Deutsch! Euro! Neuschwanstein!
